Yesterday, my brother who was running the Windows 8.1 Preview on his Asus S400CA Ultrabook ran into a big NTFS partition corruption problem that made it impossible to recover via the Windows 8.1 refresh utility. Solved: I've installed win 8.1圆4 on my HP Probook 450 G2 but I am missing the PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller driver. The culprit apparently is the 'PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller' according to Device Manager. Try all latest chipset drivers.reinstall or repair.do not remove anything.reinstalling will just reset all chipset drivers and the errors indicates more than one specific problem=GOOD LUCK!! So I have a custom built gaming PC and have run into issues as a result of a particular driver apparently not being installed. You should only install drivers from trusted-worthy sources. PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller with yellow exclamation.
